After 5 years of construction, it was inaugurated on 31 October 2018 on the 143rd Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Statue of Unity has a height of 182 metres (597 ft).
The statue has contributed towards prowess of architectural wonders of the Nation. It is said to be twice the height of the Statue of Liberty, USA.
2. Veera Abhaya Anjaneya Hanuman Swami
India is also home to the tallest statue of Lord Hanuman in the world. The Veer Abhaya Anjaneya Hanuman Swami is the second tallest statue and is present at the Paritala Anjaneya Temple, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It has a height of 135 feet (41 metres). It was opened on 22 June 2003.
It is among the tallest statues in the world and also taller than the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It attracts a lot of travellers and devotees!
3. Thiruvalluvar Statue
The next statue on our list of tallest statues in India is the Thiruvalluvar Statue, also known as the Valluvar Statue. It was built as a tribute to the Tamilian philosopher Valluvar. He was the author of one of the oldest Tamil textbooks, the Tirukkural. It has a height of 133-feet (40.6 m) and is a type of stone statue.
The long monument of Valluvar is divided into 3 sections which represent virtue (38 chapters), wealth (70 chapters) and love (25 chapters). It was opened to visitors on 1 January 2000.
4. Tathagata Tsal (Buddha Park of Ravangla)
The fourth tallest Indian statue is the Buddha Statue at Tathagata Tsal or the Buddha Park Of Ravangla. It is a magnificent statue of the Buddha which stands tall at a height of 130-foot (40 m). It was blessed and inaugurated on 25 March 2013 by the 14th Dalai Lama.
It was installed on the special occasion of the 2550th birth anniversary of the Buddha. The statue was the result of the joint efforts and devotion of the Sikkim government and the localities.
5. Dhyana Buddha statue
The next magnificent statue on this list is the Dhyana Buddha Statue. It is a statue depicting a meditating Buddha and is located at Amaravathi, India. It has a height of 125 ft (38 m). The statue began its installation in 2003 and was completed in 2015. The statue and museum are situated close to the river Krishna, in Andhra Pradesh.

8. Adiyogi Shiva statue

It was built by the Isha Yoga Foundation and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 24, 2017. It depicts a magnificent structure of the Adiyogi-Lord Shiva.
The statue is 34.3m tall (112.4 ft), 45m long (147 ft) and 7.62m wide (24.99 ft). The 112 feet indicate to the 112 methods of self-transformation as given by the almighty Shiva or Adiyogi.
9. Hanuman Statue of Damanjodi
The second last name on this list of tallest statues in India is the Hanuman Statue of Damajodi. It is a 108.9 ft (33.1 m) tall statue of Lord Hanuman and is the second tallest statue of Hanuman in the world after the Veer Abhaya Anjaneya Hanuman Swami, Vijayawada which is also in India. It was constructed on March 3, 2017.
The statue is present in the NALCO township of Damajodi and is one of the major attraction of the place. It attracts devotees from all over the country.
10. Lord Basava Statue
The tenth name on this list of the tallest Indian statues is of the Lord Basava Statue, in honour of the 12th-century Kannada philosopher, poet and social reformer Basavanna. It was opened in 2014 and is the tallest statue of Basavanna in the world. It is located at Basavakalyan, Karnataka, constructed by the Basava Dharma Peetha.
It has a height of 108ft (33 m) and is the tenth tallest statue in India today. It gets a great lot of visitors each day.
